Mathmeticians! Week 4 is upon us!

Hello Math Students!

Here is an update on Homework and other Happenings in Ms. Honeycutt's math class:

Due Monday 2/25: No homework

Due Tuesday 2/26: Study for your Quiz (and complete 1a and 1b for period 5 math)

Due Wednesday 2/27: Worksheet # 5-7

Due Thursday 2/28: "Gutierrez" Story Problem

Due Friday 2/29: Study for the QUIZ. Variables & Patterns Problem 2.2 part A, B

You should be completing these assignments in your notebooks. All notebooks will be collected Tuesday March 4th so that Ms. H can enter grades for the first progress report of Second Semester.

If you are still earning a failing grade, you will be REQUIRED TO STAY AFTER SCHOOL EVERY DAY NEXT WEEK to make up for and/or correct all missing assignments. Letters will be sent home if you are not turning in any outstanding assignments or if you do not attend.

~~~
We are going to begin working exculsively with Equations soon -- get ready for all the AWESOME hints and shortcuts! Once again, Ms. H is completely...
EXCITED O_o
I would like to remind you all that progress reports are turned in every 5 weeks... so I will be entering your grades to be sent home in a little over 1 week.
This means you have until Monday March 3rd to turn in all missing assignments and bring your grade up. After then, it will be EXREMELY HARD to pull your grade up. Also, if you do not have the habit of bringing your notebook to class every day, you are really in trouble!
Good Luck to you all on the quiz Friday! It will be on Equations and Graphs.
Peace,
- Ms. H
Exponents
Hello again, Students!
This week we will be focusing on Exponents! This is another one of my favorite parts of math class because it is SUPER easy to do and there really is not a lot of computation involved.
>_<
(EXCITED!)
Be sure to bring your Math Notebooks and your own Writing utensil to class this week and be ready to learn a lot about EXPONENTS!
Okay guys, don't forget the most important thing - Mark the number you got correct for each day on the chart labeled Daily Progress Record for week 1!
For example:
If Ms. Honeycutt answered 4 out of 5 correct for Monday, she would then shade 4 boxes for Monday's graph and leave the 5th square blank.
Easy, right? Okay, now you must do the same for your page in order to recieve full credit!
